Sprout Social's 2021 DEI report reveals persistent imbalances in representation, such as a global gender split of 49.7% male and 50.3% female, with women holding only 42.3% of Director+ leadership roles and technical roles showing a 69.9% male majority, alongside a US racial makeup dominated by 73.1% White employees and minimal Black or African American presence at 5.2%.
